Overview
Laramie Fitness, a premier gym in Laramie, Wyoming, faced operational inefficiencies due to outdated technology systems. The gym was running on a patched-together Windows NT virtual machine, a legacy system left behind by the previous owner. Membership management was cumbersome, and limited payment options restricted revenue growth. Recognizing the potential for improvement, Laramie Fitness partnered with Mondo to modernize its technology infrastructure and create a seamless experience for members and staff.
Mondo implemented GymFlow, a cutting-edge membership management platform integrated with Stripe, unlocking various fintech options previously unavailable to the gym. This switch alone resulted in increased membership sign-ups, as the ease of self-service membership management attracted new customers and improved retention. The upgrade also streamlined payment processing, reduced administrative workload, and enhanced customer experience.

In addition to GymFlow, Mondo deployed Unifi Wireless Access and the Helium Network, creating a robust connectivity solution supporting gym operations and the surrounding Laramie community. The Helium Network, powered by the cryptocurrency token HNT, provided an innovative revenue stream, acting as an independent ISP solution outside major cellular carriers. This solution improved connectivity for staff and members and generated passive income through the Helium crypto network.
Furthermore, Mondo implemented Ubiquiti's Unifi Protect Surveillance System, enhancing security throughout the facility, and installed a Ubiquiti Access EV Charger, offering an additional revenue stream while encouraging sustainability initiatives.
